On Saturday 30th May, we officially opened the doors to Mowchi Aldgate!

After months of planning, building and making sure every detail was right - it was finally time to welcome the local community into our newest space on Commercial Road.

The response honestly exceeded our expectations.

Before midday, a queue had already formed outside the store as people arrived to take advantage of our opening giveaway. The first 100 customers received a complimentary drink, and within a short time our baristas were busy serving everything from specialty coffees to signature bubble teas.

For the team, it was great to finally put faces to the names and messages we’d been seeing online in the lead up to launch 🤍 Seeing people sit down, catch up with friends, work from their laptops and enjoy the space exactly as we’d imagined made all the hard work worthwhile.

Aldgate felt like the perfect home for Mowchi from day one. Surrounded by students, professionals and a diverse local community, it’s the kind of area where people are always looking for somewhere comfortable to meet, work or simply slow down for an hour.

Whether you’re grabbing a coffee before work, stopping by for an afternoon catch-up or looking for a late-evening matcha, we’re here from 7:30am until 10pm every day.
