At Mowchi, we have always been obsessed with the details. For us, the perfect cup of coffee has never been just a "caffeine fix"; it’s a ritual. It’s that intentional moment of pause in a busy day. That’s why last week, we headed to the roastery with our partners at Caffeine Limited to begin work on a project we’ve dreamed about since our very first day: The Mowchi Signature Roast.

A Masterclass in Precision

Our first cupping session was a deep dive into the true craft of specialty coffee. If you’ve never seen a cupping session, it’s a meticulous process. We spent hours evaluating everything from the bright acidity of the beans to the weight of the body and the smoothness of the finish.

We weren't just looking for "good" coffee. We were looking for a profile that mirrored the Mowchi sanctuary, something balanced, premium, and restorative. We wanted to design a roast that truly feels like "Mowchi in a cup."

From Our Counter to Your Kitchen

The most exciting part of this milestone? This signature roast isn't staying behind our counters.

For the first time, we are moving into retail. We are currently in the final stages of designing our own bespoke packaging, allowing you to bring that Mowchi ritual into your own home. Whether you’re a morning person or a mid-afternoon sipper, you’ll soon be able to brew our signature blend in your own kitchen.

We left the roastery feeling inspired, incredibly proud of the partnership we’ve built, and, admittedly, very caffeinated.
